STARKVILLE — Three people have died in a house fire in Oktibbeha County and authorities are looking for an unaccounted for person.

Oktibbeha County Fire Services Coordinator Kirk Rosenhan says three bodies were found in the debris Thursday morning.

The victims— all from Starkville — were identified as 48-year-old Geraldine Bradford Rice, 23-year-old Samuel Razi Morris and 92-year-old Celia Craig Robson.

Authorities say George Robson, the husband of Celia Robson survived the fire.

First responders with the East Oktibbeha Fire Department arrived at the scene about 11:57 a.m. Wednesday. Rosenhan says the large wooden house was engulfed in flames and other fire departments were called in to assist with the blaze, which took several hours to extinguish.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
