Tishomingo County will hold an alcohol election May 21 after a date was set Monday.
After almost three years of effort to gather more than 2,500 signatures, a lone man determined to have an alcohol election in Tishomingo County has succeeded in his quest.
Charles “Tubby” Aldridge went before the county Board of Supervisors on Monday with petitions having 2,648 names of county registered voters, more than the 2,593 required.
