IUKA – Tishomingo County authorities have arrested a woman charged in a 2012 burglary and arson after she was located in Tennessee.

Mary Elizabeth McKee, 30, was returned to Tishomingo County from Chester County, Tenn., on Friday, through efforts of multiple law enforcement agencies, said Sheriff Glenn Whitlock.

McKee, formerly of Iuka, was arrested May 21, 2012, and charged with burglary of a dwelling and first-degree arson.

The fire allegedly was set by McKee and two co-conspirators in Iuka on May 10, 2012, to mask a burglary.

The fire destroyed a private home valued at about $500,000, according to Tishomingo County Fire Investigator Jesse Jones.

McKee was on the docket for the September 2012 term of court and out on bail when she failed to appear, said Assistant District Attorney Richard Bowen.
