Tishomingo man's bond set at $1 million on murder charges

Walden’s bond was set at $1 million dollars by Justice Court Judge Barry Davis.


A 22-year-old man from Tishomingo was charged with murder today.
William “Monroe” Walden, 22, of 3055 County Road 961 in Tishomingo, is in the Itawamba County Jail tonight and will have a initial appearance before a judge Monday morning for bond to be set.
He’s charged in the shooting death of 30-year-old Rosa Ables.
According to Sheriff Chris Dickinson, Walden and Ables were first cousins and after getting into an altercation, he reportedly shot her in the back with a 12-gauge shotgun.
