Todd English named Booneville Superintendent

Booneville Middle School Principal Todd English will become the Booneville School District’s new superintendent on July 1.
English was chosen by the district’s school board to replace Rickey Neaves, who will leave when his term expires at the end of June to take a job supervising athletics for the Mississippi High School Activities Association.
English is in his second year as principal at BMS after serving for seven years as Booneville High School’s assistant principal. English began his career in education with three years as a science teacher and coach in Wheeler, and also spent three years as a technology discovery teacher in the Prentiss County vocational-technology program.
“Mr. English has overwhelming support from Booneville school personnel who have worked closely with him for the past nine years,” said Marshall Dickerson, chairman of the Booneville School Board.
