TUPELO – The Tupelo School Board will hold a special meeting today at 4 p.m. to announce the results of the district’s curriculum audit.
Auditor Eve Proffitt of Phi Delta Kappa, which conducted the study, will present the results.
Auditors interviewed parents, teachers and administrators and studied the district’s curriculum to look for gaps between state requirements, district requirements and what is being taught. They will present recommendations for how the district can strengthen instruction.
The meeting will be held in the Hancock Leadership Center. Parents are invited to the meeting to learn more about the audit’s results and recommendations.
