TPSD yard signs

By NEMS Daily Journal

Several Tupelo school parents and citizens are expressing their frustration with the Tupelo Public School District Administration with yard signs.

A group that met at the Link Center last week passed out the signs. John Sanders, who led the meeting, offered those in attendance a new yard sign that they could post as a sign of their dissatisfaction.

The sign reads:
“For Sale
Why?
Ask your School Board and City Leaders”

Sanders said it notes the recent white flight out of Tupelo. He said that the group is supportive of the school district but that it has lost confidence in the administration, which he says has led to the system’s decline.
