Traffic stop nets crack cocaine arrest

A traffic stop led to a man’s arrest on crack cocaine charges.

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office’s Narcotics Unit arrested Roosevelt Moore, 77, of Aberdeen on Monday. Moore was arrested as the result of a traffic stop on Sharpley Bottom Road.

Moore is charged with possession of crack cocaine and is currently being housed at Monroe County Detention Center. Bond has not been set at this time.
