GULFPORT, Miss. (AP) — Authorities say an Alabama man was killed when a car collided with a train in downtown Gulfport.

The accident occurred about 3 a.m. Tuesday

Harrison County Coroner Gary Hargrove says 29-year-old Brian Little of Mobile, Ala., died in the accident.

Gulfport police Sgt. Damon McDaniel says the eastbound train dragged the vehicle four blocks before stopping. He says it appeared the car got stuck on the tracks.

McDaniel says two other people got out of the car safely.
