TUPELO – The Tupelo Airport Authority meets Monday to talk about a $250,000 change order request from Century Construction.
Last month, the airport board approved a contract with Century. At the time, the Tupelo-based company had worries that delays in the project could add some $500,000 to its winning bid of just over $5 million.
Century’s bid was significantly lower than the estimated $8.15 million officials had estimated it would cost to add 650 feet to the runway.
The board will meet at noon on Monday.
