Tupelo attorney named president-elect of Mississippi Bar Association

TUPELO – Tupelo attorney Guy W. Mitchell, III has been named president-elect designee of the Mississippi Bar Association in a vote of the 7,000-member professional organization made public Friday.
Mitchell, a member of the Mitchell, McNutt and Sams firm headquartered in Tupelo, will take office as president-elect in July and become president in 2013.
Mitchell was chosen in a secret ballot by the membership after nomination by a special committee appointed by association president Hugh Keating of Gulfport.
