Tupelo Buffalo Park vandalized by 3 males

By The Associated Press

TUPELO — Authorities say security cameras captured three males vandalizing the Tupelo Buffalo Park and the images show them tearing up property and spraying paint at Kiki the lion.

WTVA-TV reports that workers found the damage on Tuesday. Gates and fences were broken, and obscenities had been written all over the property.

Lindsay Bullock, who works at the park, says it appears the vandals ran through one of the gates.

The trespassers are seen on video with their faces covered while walking around the park. One video shows the trespassers spraying paint at Kiki the lion.

No animals were hurt.

The park will close for repairs. A $1,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to arrests.
