Tupelo man charged with armed robbery

TUPELO – Bond is set at $100,000 for a man accused of robbing Walgreens at Crosstown.
Demetrius Miller, 33, of Tupelo remains in the Lee County jail charged with armed robbery.
Investigators said a man walked into the store about 4 a.m. Tuesday, held a gun on a cashier and demanded money.
He left with more than $200.
Miller was charged with the crime after a K-9 police officer said he found him in some bushes on Industrial Drive.
The clerk was not injured in the robbery.
