TUPELO – The Tupelo Convention & Visitors Bureau reported tourism sales tax revenues fell 2.5 percent in June compared to the previous year.
The drop comes after a 19.6 percent drop in May. For the year, the sales tax revenues are up 0.13 percent. The CVB based its budget on a 3 percent increase. The CVB’s fiscal year ends at the end of this month.
