TUPELO – The flight schedules at Tupelo Regional Airport are being tweaked – but it won’t mean any additional flights to and from Memphis.
Delta Air Lines will continue to provide 15 flights a week per its federally subsidized contract.
But the airport announced Tuesday two new schedules for Tupelo Regional.
The first runs from Aug. 16 to Aug. 31; the second runs Sept. 1 and thereafter.
Both schedules continue to offer three arrivals and departures on Mondays, Thursdays and Friday; two arrivals and departures on Tuesdays and Wednesdays; and one arrival and departure on Saturdays and Sunday.
While the arrival and departure times Sunday through Friday will be tweaked between three and 20 minutes when the schedules change in September, the biggest change will be on Saturdays.
From Aug. 16 to Aug. 31, a flight will leave at 6:50 a.m. The return flight will be at 3:22 p.m. Starting Sept. 1, the departing flight is at 7:55 a.m. and the arrival flight is 5:22 p.m.
