Tupelo's tourism revenues jump 10

TUPELO – Tupelo’s tourism tax revenues grew 10.4 percent in June, according to the Tupelo Convention and Visitors Bureau.
The Tupelo CVB reported Tuesday tax revenues of $316,686, which is an increase of $29,769 from June 2010.
The current sales tax revenue growth for the year is 4.6 percent. Last year’s average was 2.82 percent. The CVB has one more month left in its fiscal year.
