Twenty arrests reported in Pontotoc

Following months of investigation Pontotoc County law enforcement authorities arrested a number of people last week on an assortment of alleged drug charges.
In a major county wide round up, 20 people had their initial appearance before Justice Court Judge David Hall last Wednesday, January 23.
Sheriff Leo Mask said that several law enforcement departments helped in the round-up that started Tuesday afternoon and went into the night.
“Officers with the city of Pontotoc, Ecru, Sherman and the North Mississippi Narcotics unit aided the Sheriff’s Department in these arrests,” Mask said. “They were the result of six months of investigation.”
“This is just your initial appearance and to set a bond,” said Judge Hall as he began the proceedings. “You don’t have to plead today and as we go through I will be appointing each of you an attorney. If you can afford one of your own, let me know when I come to you.”
Victoria Lewis, 23, 168 Old Highway 15, Ecru was charged with one count of the conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $10,000.
Jarvis Bolton, 22, 1615 West Jackson Street, Tupelo, was charged with three counts of the sale of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. “This is four charges,” Judge Hall said. Bolton’s bond was set at $40,000.
Timothy A. Wilson, 23, 443 Possum Trot Road, Pontotoc, was charged with one count of the sale of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. His bond was set at $20,000.
Stephanie Truelock, 20, 58 Hill Road, Tishomingo, was charged with three counts of the sale of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $40,000.
Rickey Abbott, 23, 58 Old Highway 15, Ecru, was charged with five counts of the sale of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $50,000.
Antonio Robinson, 27, 489 Ambriana Lane, Pontotoc, was charged with one count of the sale of a controlled substance and one count of the conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. His bond was set at $20,000.
Santanio Sanders, 39, 120 McGar Loop, Pontotoc, was charged with three counts of the sale of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $30,000.
Rita Navarette, 29, was charged with one count of selling counterfeit and two counts sale of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $30,000.
Susan Feser, 22, 443 Possum Trot Road, was charged with one count of the sale of a controlled substance, one count conspiracy to sell a controlled substance and one count of the sale of a counterfeit. Her bond was set at $30,000.
Hosia Williams, 23, 411 Swords Lane, Pontotoc, was charged with two counts of the sale of a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $20,000.
Prentis Slack, 27, 527 Cummings Loop, Pontotoc, was charged with one count of the sale of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $10,000.
Ashley Rodgers, 21, 4042 Cairo Loop, Pontotoc, was charged with five counts of the sale of a controlled substance and one count of the conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. Her bond was set at $60,000.
Herman Kimbrough, 22, 4042 Cairo Loop, Pontotoc, was charged with three counts of the sale of a controlled substance and one count of the conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. His bond was set at $50,000.
Jesse McCammon, 19, 6639 Highway 341, Pontotoc, was charged with one count of the sale of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. His bond was set at $20,000.
Kardetric Pinson, 28, 268 Westside Drive, Pontotoc, was charged with one count of the sale of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. His bond was set at $20,000.
Aric Wilson, 30, County Road 2, Houlka, was charged with three counts of the sale of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. His bond was set at $40,000.
Sontanyo Bolton, 23, 1615 Wilson Chapel Road, Pontotoc, was charged with one count of the conspiracy to sell a controlled substance. His bond was set at $10,000.
Emillio Dixon, 24, 937 Old Highway 15 Ecru, has been charged with two counts of the sale of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $20,000.
Nickey Owen, 27, 1227 Hankins Street, Tupelo, was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $10,000.
Thomas Clayton, 30, County Road 811 House #126, Saltillo, was charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance. His bond was set at $10,000.
All of these cases will be presented to the Pontotoc County grand jury to decide if there is enough evidence to officially indict them on the charges and bind them over to circuit court.
The next grand jury bond date is May 23.
