Two arrested for auto burglaries

TUPELO – A Tupelo man and juvenile were charged yesterday with multiple vehicle burglaries Thursday.

Adrian McCoy, 18, and a 16-year-old were arrested Thursday when residents reported the two dressed in all black walking through yards after finding their vehicles burglarized.

The two fled police after a brief foot chase but were later located at Huddle House and the Wingate Inn.

McCoy is currently out on bond for robbery, kidnapping and aggravated assault.

His bond was set at $500,000 by Lee County Justice Court Judge John Hoyt Sheffield.
