Two arrested, face felony shoplifting charges

AMORY – The Amory Police Department arrested two men just after 2 a.m. Tuesday morning for the theft of more than $500 in merchandise from Wal-Mart.

The two men took a number of cell phones from the store and were apprehended by police a short time later.

Israell Josiah Wilson, 30, and Tequan Jamal Neal, 19, both of Meridian, were charged with felony shoplifting. Bond for Wilson and Neal was set at $10,000 by Monroe County Justice Court Judge Robert Fowlkes.

Wilson has been released on bond while Neal is currently being held in the Amory City jail.
