Two arrested in Prentiss County burglary

BALDWYN – Prentiss County investigators arrested two in connection with a burglary just outside Baldwyn last week.
Bryson Jamal Whitfield, 20, of 1005 Rockefeller Ave., Tupelo, and Lapisces Panzetta Shelley, 22, of 238 South Second St., Baldwyn, were arrested Friday night on burglary and larceny charges following a burglary at County Road 6100 on Friday. Shelley was also charged with conspiracy to commit burglary and larceny.
Whitfield was released Saturday on a $5,000 bond. Shelley was also released Saturday on a $10,000 bond.
Stolen items included two flat screen TVs, a laptop, handgun and other electronics. The Tupelo Police Department assisted in the case.
