Two burglaries reported Friday morning in Oxford

OXFORD – Police responded to two commercial burglaries early Friday morning in Oxford.
At approximately 3:10 a.m., someone entered Shipley’s Donuts on South Lamar Boulevard through the rear door and took an undisclosed amount on money from the cash drawer.
Around 4 a.m., a clerk at the Shell Gas Mart on Highway 6 West reported a black male between 5-feet 10-inches and 6-feet 2-inches and weighing about 190 pounds robbed the store at gunpoint.
The suspect had a semi-automatic hand gun and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Detectives will release a description of the Shipley’s Donuts suspect after going through security video.
