SALTILLO – Two Tupelo residents were charged with breaking into a Saltillo business early Thursday morning.

Misty Underwood, 31, and Christopher Parker, 35, both of Tupelo, were charged with breaking and entering after Saltillo Police allegedly caught them breaking into Extreme Kids daycare on Highway 45 in Saltillo.

Saltillo Police Chief Grant Bailey said his officer saw a suspicious vehicle pull into the business between 1 a.m. and 2 a.m. and stuck around to see if anything happened.

He allegedly found Parker going through the building with a flashlight while Underwood allegedly waited outside.

Their bonds were set at $5,000 in the Lee County Justice Court on Thursday afternoon.

That one is after school so, there is stuff that would be of value, They have all the symptoms of meth heads…so they were probably looking to score a quick buck.
