A young man and juvenile were arrested yesterday on charges of burglarizing a Central Avenue home.

Samuel K. Hall, 19, of Tupelo, and a 17-year-old were taken into custody at the scene after officers were called.

Officers on the scene reported Hall was inside the residence and the juvenile attempting to escape through a window when they arrived.

Officers allege the two had property from the home on their persons, as well as the tool used to break into the home.

Lee County Justice Court Judge Sadie Holland set Hall’s bond at $5,000.
