TUPELO – Two Tupelo men were charged with auto burglary Tuesday.
Justin Ware, 18, of Tupelo, and Lavoris Cayson, 19, of Tupelo, were charged in connection with several auto burglaries at an apartment complex in the North Gloster Street and Barnes Crossing Area.
Tupelo Police Lt. Jerry Davis said multiple cars were burglarized but a number is not being released because the investigation is ongoing and reports are still coming in.
Items reported taken include money, electronic devices and laptops.
Davis said they believe many of the vehicles were locked because car windows were broken.
The two suspects will have their bond hearing a Lee County Justice Court Thursday.
