Two convicted in Marshall County bank holdups

ABERDEEN – Sentencing is pending for two Memphis, Tenn., women convicted this past week for their roles in Marshall County, Miss., bank robberies.

Starlet Kizer and Angela Bryson Miller were arrested in November in Memphis. They were convicted Aug. 22 in federal court in Aberdeen for the robberies of the Bank of Holly Springs branch in Mt. Pleasant on May 19, 2010, and the Citizens Branch Bank in Barton on June 10 the same year.

The jury found the defendants both guilty of the two counts of bank robbery, Marshall County Sheriff Kenny Dickerson told the South Reporter newspaper.
