CORINTH – A call about 5:10 p.m. to Corinth Police Department to report a fight at a residence on Forest School Road has resulted in the arrest of a suspect in the shooting of two victims.

The names of the victims, who both are receiving treatment at the local hospital for what are believed to be non-life-threatening injuries, are not being released, said chief of detectives Capt. Ralph Dance.

The suspect who was taken into custody also is not being identified at this time, Dance said.

Investigators continued interviewing multiple witnesses, but neither the victims nor the suspect had been interviewed as of 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dance said.

Both victims were shot multiple times, Dance said, and they and the suspect are all male.

More information, and a determination of whether charges will be filed, will not be available until Wednesday, Dance said.
