Two men facing drug charges in Monroe County

Two Monroe County men were arrested Saturday, May 25 on drug charges, according a statement from the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office.
Nicholas Blake Rogers, 18, of Amory and Melvin Enoch Livingston, 20, of Smithville were stopped on Highway 23 Saturday in Smithville by the MSCO and North Mississippi Narcotics Unit.
Rogers was the driver and Livingston was the passenger of the vehicle. Deputies located marijuana and a set of digital scales inside the vehicle.
Both men are charged with possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell (marijuana).
Both subjects were arrested and transported to the Monroe County Detention Center. No bond has been set at this time.
