For the second time in a month, an Aberdeen minister has been arrested.
James A. Cook, 57, was arrested and charged with false pretense Wednesday, according to Monroe County Sheriff Andy Hood.
Cook is out on a $1,000 bond for a June 17 arrest in which he was charged with two counts false pretense.
Cook is the minister at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church in Aberdeen and is a former president of the Monroe County Habitat for Humanity.
According to Hood, Cook bonded out after he was arrested.
His initial court date is not known at this time.
