JACKSON — Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour will give his annual State of the State address on Thursday.
He’s set to speak at 5 p.m. Thursday at the Capitol. The speech will be carried live on Mississippi Public Broadcasting. It was originally planned for Tuesday, but rescheduled, according to the governor’s office.
Governors use the State of the State to lay out a legislative agenda, but Barbour says he already revealed most of his big proposals when he released his budget late last year.
