Emergency crews were dispatched to a crash on Highway 45 north in Nettleton around 8:10 p.m.
The crash is near Will Robbins Highway. It is between an 18-wheeler and a pickup truck.
It appears two were transported to the hospital, a man and a woman in the pickup.
According to Nettleton Mayor R.V. Adams, police report the pickup was making a U-turn on the highway and went into the side of an 18-wheeler hauling lumber.
The driver of the 18-wheeler is doing OK. It broke the axle of his truck, officials said, and cleanup is under way.
The condition is unknown of the two occupants of the pickup truck.
