UPDATE: Car crashes into Nettleton home, nobody is injured

NETTLETON – A truck crashed into a home just north of downtown Saturday night.
About 9:30 p.m., emergency responders were dispatched to 4482 Union Ave. Both Nettleton and Shannon units responded.
According to Mayor R.V. Adams, nobody was seriously injured. Medics treated people at the home and assessed a pregnant woman inside the house who it was feared could go into labor. She did not go into labor.
Adams said a truck left the roadway and traveled about half a mile and struck the bedroom of the house. About half of the truck was in the house. He said the residents were at the back of the house and didn’t get hit by the truck.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
