Three men who escaped from an Alcorn County jail will go before a judge in Little Rock for extradition Tuesday morning, according to the Alcorn County Sheriff’s Department.
An investigation into who helped the inmates escape in in progress, and all who helped will be charged.
After three days on the run, U.S. Marshals captured three suspects last Friday wanted for escaping from the Alcorn County jail at a Little Rock Waffle House.
United States Marshal Scott A. Sanders said Erik Hansen, 23, of Corinth, Cassanova Damron, 21, of Corinth, and Brian Knight, 27, of Jackson, Tenn., escaped from the Alcorn County jail on Tuesday. Both Damron and Knight were being held on armed robbery charges while Hansen was in custody for violation of probation.
