The Mueller Copper Tube plant where a worker was killed and three others injured in an explosion on Wednesday is expected to resume production Monday Fulton Mayor Paul Walker tells the Itawamba County Times.
Walker said he was told about the restart of the plant by Mueller Company officials.
Phillip Cason Hosch of Sulligent, Ala., was killed in the explosion on Wednesday, marking the third death at the Fulton facility since April of last year. One of the three injured employees was identified as Joel Robinson. Names of the other two were not released by the company.
A spokeswoman at the Joseph M. Still Burn Center in Brandon, tells WTVA News that Eddie Simmons, who was reportedly injured in the accident, is listed now in stable condition.
