OXFORD – June 8 is the new trial date for Tupelo attorney William Catledge to defend himself against federal charges he lied about his income taxes.
Catledge has pleaded not guilty.
The trial will begin at 9:30 a.m. in the U.S. District Courthouse in Oxford with Senior Judge Neal B. Biggers Jr. presiding.
Earlier this month, Biggers moved the trial from April 27 to allow Catledge’s defense time to secure its own accounting expert to help analyze information for their case.
