UPDATE: Lee County missing man found

SALTILLO – The Lee County Sheriff’s Department has located a missing man who wandered off from his home near Lake Lamar Bruce Thursday evening.

Lee County Sheriff Jim Johnson said Charles W. Vick, 72, is safe and after being checked by medics will be released to his family.

Vick is reported to have Alzheimer’s.

The Lee County Sheriff’s Department currently is searching the wooded areas north of Lake Lamar Bruce in the Saltillo/Guntown area.
According to Sheriff Jim Johnson, Charles W. Vick, 72, wandered away from home around 5 p.m. Thursday.
He is reported to have Alzheimer’s.
When last seen Vick was wearing blue jeans, a red flannel shirt and cowboy boots. He is 5’10″ and weighs about 145 pounds. Police also said he usually wears a green or red cap.
