UPDATE: Man facing DUI Death charges after Tupelo accident

TUPELO – One driver died and another driver was arrested after a Saturday evening wreck at the intersection of West Jackson Street Extended and Coley Road.
The wreck happened about 8 p.m. Saturday. The Tupelo Police Department said two cars were involved in the head-on collision.
According to Lee County Coroner Carolyn Gillentine-Green, John E. Bell, 30, of Tupelo died in the crash.
Tupelo Police Chief Tony Carleton said the other driver was arrested for driving under the influence. Wesley Edward Brandon, 30, of Belden was arrested on charges of DUI Death.
Bell’s autopsy will be performed Monday in Jackson.
Carleton said the investigation is ongoing.
