UPDATE: Masoli to Ole Miss?

Is former Oregon quarterback Jeremiah Masoli heading to Ole Miss?

The 5-foot-11, 220-pound Masoli threw for 2,147 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2009 in helping Oregon to the Pac-10 title. He had 668 yards and 13 touchdowns rushing.

Masoli was suspended for the 2010 season following a guilty plea to a burglary charge and kicked off the team at Oregon in early June after being cited for marijuana possession during a traffic stop.

Parrish Alford reports – “Ole Miss coach Houston Nutt in a text message said that a Masoli transfer to Ole Miss is “not true yet.” Nutt says the school must first receive a visit from Masoli and that the whole process could take seven days to work itself out.”
