The Tupelo Papa John’s was robbed Thursday night.
The store at 2200 West Main St. called in an armed robbery at 9:31 p.m.
Tupelo Police Lt. Brian Brown said a white man with a red hoodie came in to the store and when an employee went to help him, he showed a firearm and left the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of money.
A K9 was searching the neighborhood behind the store but lost the scent, and police are using security footage to investigate.
