EUPORA – Henry Ross is ready to move on with his life, and Friday he conceded he’d come up short in his campaign for Congress.
“I called Alan this morning and congratulated him,” Ross said.
Alan Nunnelee, a Tupelo businessman and state senator, garnered some 52 percent of the 38,000 votes cast Tuesday for a Republican nominee to challenge Democrat incumbent Rep. Travis Childers of Booneville in the November general election.
Former Fox News analyst Angela McGlowan of Oxford came in third with 15 percent behind Ross, with 33 percent.
