7:55 p.m. – Tree down on Highway 8 in Monroe County.

6:40 p.m. – Trees reported down north of Amory in Monroe County as reported by Monroe County EMA.

6:30 p.m. – Reports of power outages in Pontotoc County.

6:18 p.m. – Itawamba County Sheriff Department reports tree down along New Chapel Road in Evergreen Community of Itawamba County.

5:44 p.m. – Tula, Lafayette County – 50 to 60 mph winds. Structure damage on County Road 149.

5:44 p.m. – Emergency Management reporting trees down north part of Calhoun County in Bruce, Banner and Sarepta areas.

Tonight: Showers and thunderstorms. Low around 44. Windy, with a north northeast wind 25 to 30 mph decreasing to between 15 and 20 mph. Winds could gust as high as 40 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Friday: A 40 percent chance of showers, mainly before noon. Cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 56. North northeast wind between 10 and 15 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.
