TUPELO – The city Public Transportation Committee today adopted a report recommending a municipal transit system.
The 46-page document was prepared by hired consultants Neel-Schaffer and Bourne Transit Consulting. It states that Tupelo needs a public bus system and outlines six different options for implementing one.
