UPDATE: Tupelo Regional Airport disaster drill tonight

By Biz Buzz

Don’t be alarmed when you see a lot of emergency response personnel – fire, police, sheriff’s department, ambulances, etc. – at the Tupelo Regional Airport tonight.

The airport is having a disaster drill, as required every three years by the Federal Aviation Administration.

This one will be a little different, however. In the past, the drills have taken place during the day, which makes things a lot easier to work with. But the drill tonight will start around 8:30 p.m. and go on for about two hours.
