UPDATE: Tupelo school teacher arrested on meth charges

A teacher at Parkway Elementary School in Tupelo has been arrested by deputies with the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department.

Teresa Dill Johnson, 46, 1219 Lake Drive Amory has been charged with possession of precursors with intent to manufacture and possession of a controlled substance (crystal methamphetamine). Johnson is a former teacher at Aberdeen Elementary School where she taught a gifted class.

Also arrested was Michael Lee Soden, 28, 908 North Boulevard, Amory. Soden was charged with possession of precursors with intent to manufacture and possession of a controlled substance (Crystal Methamphetamine)
