TUPELO – A warm-weather vegetable seminar is set for today at 10 a.m. at the Tupelo Community Garden on Spring Street.
Families are encouraged to attend to learn how to build healthy soil, start seeds and grow plants in several different formats, including hay bales, raised beds, trellis structures, square foot gardening and cold frames. A children’s program will run simultaneously.
The free presentation is made possible by Mississippi State University Extension Service, Keep Tupelo Beautiful and Master Gardeners.
