Wanted Missouri man found in Tupelo during traffic investigation

TUPELO – Mississippi Highway Patrol troopers arrested a man who was wanted on felony charges in Missouri.

Troopers were called to assist Alabama Highway Patrol by interviewing a patient, Ralph Colburn, 52, of Branson, Mo., who was at the North Mississippi Medical Center after being involved in a car crash in Alabama.

During the interview, Troopers found out Colburn is wanted in Missouri on charges of attempted forcible rape, unlawful use of a weapon and felonious restraint.

Colburn is in the Lee County Adult Jail awaiting extradition to Stone County, Missouri.
