Warrant list posted at West Point police department

By The Associated Press

WEST POINT — An active warrant list is being posted in the lobby of the West Point Police Department displaying the names of those with outstanding fines that need to be paid.

The list exhibits names of individuals with overdue fines going back to 2008.

Police Tim Brinkley tells the Daily Times Leader that anyone who has a past due fine can stop by the police department to make payment arrangements.

Brinkley says plans are to publish the list in the newspaper twice a week over a series of weeks. The first list will appear Tuesday.

Officials say outstanding fines total more than $350,000.
