What Happens in Vegas (Day 4) …

Las Vegas Furniture Market postcard from the Daily Journal's Dennis Seid.

Dear readers:

As you read this, Todd and I (hopefully) are on our way back to Tupelo. It's been an interesting week, to say the least. Neither of us had ever been to Vegas, but I don't think we'll soon forget the experience.

Believe it or not, this was mostly a business trip full of work. There wasn't a whole lot of downtime, but we did get to walk the Strip a couple of times. The water fountain show at the Bellagio was probably the most impressive I've ever seen. Who thought that a stream of water could shoot more than 16 stories into the air? The pools at the Flamingo and Caesar's Palace were simply amazing, too.

I hope you've gotten some sense of the market here through our stories and photos. They mean serious business here, and Tupelo needs to respond. More on that later.

In the meantime, we're glad to be coming home.

Regards,

Dennis
