Woman faces sentencing for embezzlement

CORINTH – A 51-year-old Corinth woman who pleaded guilty to embezzling more than $150,000 from her employer is due to be sentenced April 28.

Pat Lancaster pleaded guilty in Alcorn County Circuit Court to four counts of embezzling about $156,000 from Long Wholesale from 2001 through 2006.

Assistant District Attorney Arch Bullard said Lancaster faces a sentence of 10 years in prison on each count and a fine of $10,000 per count.
