BILOXI — Police want to question two men in the case of a woman who was doused with a flammable liquid and set on fire.
The woman, whose identity has not been released, told police a man walked up to her Friday at the Mason D’ Orleans Apartment complex on Beach Boulevard, threw some type of accelerant in her face and lit her on fire.
The woman was taken to Biloxi Regional Hospital, then transferred to the University of South Alabama’s burn unit in Mobile. Police say she’s in stable condition.
Earlier that day, she said she talked to an unidentified white male and a Hispanic male.
Police told WLOX-TV they want to question the men but have not named them as suspects.
