Woman taken back into custody to face animal cruelty, dog stealing charges

Cindy Ann House, 40, of Hamilton was taken back into custody by Monroe County Sheriff Office Wednesday, March 27 to face additional charges of 12 counts of Cruelty to Animals and 5 felony counts of Dog Stealing, according to a press release to the Monroe Journal.
On March 21, deputies arrived at 40119 Center Hill Road where approximately 100 dogs and several cats were living in deplorable circumstances.
The animals were removed by Amory Humane Society where they will be evaluated and treated.
House is currently being held at Monroe County Detention Center.
